For that, the child must be able to recognise their skills, aptitude, and knowledge. They must also be made aware of their strengths and weaknesses. This all helps in planning the future and gaining the right education and experiences that help in defining their entire career and professional life.
By sitting down with the student, analysing his profile, mapping his career path and finally by helping him get there; a counsellor can help a student map his skillset and define his entire career by choosing the right field.
